Hi all,
I have the following problem:
I have created an Excel file which is supposed to minimize a cost function under certain constraints using the solver. (The solver is controlled via VBA and calulates the correct result, no problem.) BUT if I then want to accept the solver solution and click on the limits report to generate it, the column width of my sheet is changed and also the values from some cells are deleted. This does not happen with the other reports (Answer and Sensitivity).
Has anyone had the same porblem before or would know a solution to this?
My only idea would be to program a little macro that sets the original column width and re-inserts the deleted values.. but unfortunately I find this solution a bit unsatisfactory.

The Sensitivity Report provides classical sensitivity analysis information for both linear and nonlinear programming problems. It is available for models that do not contain any integer or binary constraints (which we will learn about later in this course). In this module we will focus on the Sensitivity Report for linear models.

Reduced Costs are the most basic form of sensitivity analysis information. The reduced cost for a variable is nonzero only when the variable’s value is equal to its upper or lower bound at the optimal solution. Moving the variable’s value away from the bound (or tightening the bound) will worsen the objective function’s value; conversely, “loosening” the bound will improve the objective.
